Free Diving & Scuba Diving

I have worked in the ocean as a naturalist and professional scuba diver for 20 years. More recently I have trained with some exceptional human beings and become fascinated with freediving—diving to depth on one breath. I chose to train with Martin Stepanek: world-record holder 13 times over, and I now represent ‘Freediving Instructors International’ as a Level 1 Instructor. Worldwide there are about 100 instructors teaching freediving for this elite freediving organization. I can safely train people to hold their breath for up to 3 minutes and dive to a maximum depth of 66’/20m in just over a day of training.

  • Having the privilege of being the personal dive instructor and underwater filmmaker for one of the co-founders of Microsoft
  • Working three seasons as an in-water guide, taking people swimming with the humpback whales of the Silver Bank
  • Being a stunt double for an actress swimming with humpback whales
  • Becoming a freediving instructor for FII – Freediving Instructors International
  • Having my images published on the ‘Aquatic treasures’ collection of Cayman Island stamps
  • Working on production and filming of ‘The mermaid project’ in Mexico
